Summer is officially over, and a few changes are coming on Ladd Marsh. Beginning on Oct. 5, all users (hunters, anglers, birders, everyone) will be required to have a FREE daily permit in their possession while on the wildlife area.
The permits will be available at numerous self-check-in stations at parking lots and entry points. Just fill out part “A” on arrival and drop it in the box. Keep part “B” with you. At the end of your visit, drop part “B” into any box.
This simple process will provide refuge managers with important information about utilization of the wildlife area. And don’t forget to keep your ODFW parking permit visible on the dashboard of your vehicle.
Please take note of the following seasonal closures:
- Tule Lake closes at the end of the day Monday, Sept 30.
- Glass Hill remains open daily until the end of January.
- The rest of Ladd Marsh (excluding designated “refuge areas”) is open Sat., Sun., Wed. and holidays during the waterfowl, pheasant and quail seasons.
