
Ladd Marsh Observation Area
Ladd Marsh is located in the Grande Ronde Valley of Northeast Oregon, near the town of La Grande.
The Friends of Ladd Marsh came together to assist with public education, enhancement, conservation and public enjoyment of the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area. As an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) IRS-approved organization, The Friends work with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife staff to support the following goals:

To support the conservation and enhancement of the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area as the largest remaining wetland in northeast Oregon.

To support public education regarding the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area and the wildlife and habitats found there.

To support enhancements to native habitats and to visitor facilities consistent with the goals of the wildlife area.

To support shared recreational use of the area including hunting, angling, wildlife watching and photography.
