FOLM Ladd Marsh Clean-up Day

The Ladd Marsh Bird Festival is only 9 days away. There is a great line-up of activities from May 15-18. There is still time to register for the festival and there are several field trips that have openings. Check it out at 2025 Ladd Marsh Bird Festival.

Each year we spend part of a Saturday picking up litter in preparation of the festival. This year’s Ladd Marsh Clean-up Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 10th. We meet at the Ladd Marsh HQ at 9:00 am. Bring gloves and wear work clothes. We have grabbers and trash bags. We hope to pick-up Peach Lane as it traverses through the heart of the LMWA. We could really use some volunteers to help with the event. Thank you for your continued support of the Friends of Ladd Marsh. It really means a lot.

Directions to Ladd Marsh HQ:

From La Grande: Take the Union Highway (203) to Pierce Road (near B&K Auto Salvage). Turn right (south) on Pierce. Continue for approximately 1.25 miles to HQ on the right.

From Union: Turn left on Pierce Road and continue for approximately 1.25 miles to HQ on the right.

HQ can be reached from I-84: Take exit 268 (Foothill Road) then turn east. At the “T” with pierce Road, turn left (north). Continue about 1.5 miles to HQ on the left.
