Please mark your calendar for the annual meeting of the Friends of Ladd Marsh scheduled for November 13 at 7:00 pm to be held at the community room of the La Grande public library. Doors will open at 6:30 pm to give members opportunity to renew memberships, friendships, and purchase FOLM gear.

If you are not a member of FOLM, you are welcome to come and learn about this small but exciting local organization and listen to the keynote speaker, Emily Cain, Executive Director of the Greater Hells Canyon Council, who will talk about the Camas to Condor Project for reintroducing condors to Hells Canyon. Also on the agenda are Laura Mahrt, providing an update of the bord banding program, MAPS, and Scott Findholt summarizing the American Barn Owl population study for Union County.
