Meet at Ladd Marsh Wildlife Headquarters

This Saturday, December 6th is the FOLM/LMWA bird walk for the month of December. We meet at the LMWA HQ at 10 am. With a few days of winter like weather, we may just be able to spot some winter visitors to the Grand Ronde Valley like Snow Buntings, Lapland Longspurs, and Horned Larks. After travelling around the valley recently, we have seen hawks, Bald Eagles, large flocks of Redwing Blackbirds, Canada and snow Geese, Mallards, and sparrows (mostly Dark-eyed Juncos and White Crown Sparrows). We hoped for short Eared Owls but are still hoping. Join us for a caravan through the valley. It should be a raptor wonderland.

We are on the eve of 2026, so it is time for membership renewal. Renewal forms both hard copy and online are available through the FOLM website at www.friendsofladdmarsh.org. Please consider being a member for another year of amazing birding opportunities through FOLM.
