Festival Passport & Registration Info
While many birders prefer to explore the area on their own, a number of birding stations will be staffed by local birders on Saturday to assist novice birders with finding and identifying birds.
Each group MUST have a Bird Fest Passport which is your permit to enter the Marsh for the weekend. You will be given a Passport in your registration packet, or you can pick up one from any of the Station Staff or at the Information Trailer on the Tule Lake Auto-tour.
Also included in the event are an evening presentation, field trips, and other activities of interest for all ages.
Bird Festival registration is cost-free, yet required.
- We recommend registering online in advance so we have a head count for attendance.
- When you arrive, you will receive a Festival Passport which serves as a permit to be in the area.
Registration for field trips requires payment of a fee.
