FOLM First Saturday Bird Walk, June 7th, 7:00 am

June’s bird walk is scheduled for June 7th. We will be taking our annual trip to GROWISER out on Pumpkin Ridge with host Dr. Andy Huber. Birds, flowers, and foliage are on tap. We will meet at the LMWA HQ at 7:00 am.

However, if you would like to drive directly out to GROWISER, that would be fine as well; here is a link to a Google Map with the GROWISER locaation: Get There. You can get directions off their website at www.growiser.net. Please be there by 8:00 am if you are going directly.

Directions to Ladd Marsh HQ:

• From La Grande: Take the Union Highway (203) to Pierce Road (near B&K Auto Salvage). Turn right (south) on Pierce. Continue for approximately 1.25 miles to HQ on the right.
• From Union: Turn left on Pierce Road and continue for approximately 1.25 miles to HQ on the right.
• HQ can be reached from I-84: Take exit 268 (Foothill Road) then turn east. At the “T” with pierce Road, turn left (north). Continue about 1.5 miles to HQ on the left.
